Our Gym

A member of the Alberta Gymnastics Federation, Fort Gym Club is a not for profit club under the umbrella of the Fort Saskatchewan Minor Sports Association. Located in the multi-use Dow Centennial Center, we utilize half the gymnasium with 3 sets of bars, 6 beams at various heights, a new large tramp and vault. The flexhall, which was constructed specifically for gymnastics and judo, hosts the tots and rec area and competitive floor.

Head Coach

Leanne began training with FSGC in 1994/1995 and continued to train until spring of 1997 when she became a jr. coach. Upon completing her Level 1 certification in 2000, Leanne began coaching her own classes, starting with tots and moving her way up through recreation, pre competitive and then competitive. Leanne is certified Level 2 and has completed her Level 3 Theory and Technical courses along with Level 1 judging and Level 1 trampoline. In fall 2007 she took over the position of head coach and continues to be both head coach and competitive coach. Leanne’s favourite event is beam and continues to coach because of the kids and really enjoys the current group who are both fun and hard working.
